Sometimes You Feel Like A Nut And These Are The Healthiest

I have heard and researched over and over that there is a secret little key to eating that can help you lose weight. And that is before every meal if you eat a handful of nuts it actually helps fill you up so you won’t overeat. But it has lots of other nutritional benefits as well.

Now I love me some delicious mixed nuts as much as the next person but I really want to zero in one one in particular and that is the healthiest of healthy.

The Walnut.

This is known as the number one healthiest nut out there. Now while all are really great for you and they contains natural oils the walnut is just heads above the rest.

Walnuts are actually part of the tree nut family. This food family includes Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts (filberts), macadamia nuts, pecans, pine nuts, pistachios and walnuts. To be honest it would be difficult to overestimate the potential health benefits associated with this food family too.

Also they contain the antioxidant compound ellagic acid, which is known to fight cancer and support the immune system, while also containing extremely high counts of omega-3 fatty acids which are great for your brain.

These also reduce blood pressure, high cholesterol, all while being extremely high in Potassium, Calcium, and Magnesium.

I know when I was young my grandparents use to always have assorted nuts including walnuts with the cracker  at their house that I used to eat when I was really young. Every since then I made sure I would have them regularly because like I mentioned before despite them being full of natural benefits they also help fill you up which prevents you from over eating.

This is huge for weight loss.
