The Easiest Way To Find The Best Whey Protein For Men & Women

October 31, 2011 by Matt

While there are literally hundreds of whey proteins out there on the market today I am sure you would like to know what is the best whey protein for you to consume and why. There are numerous reasons why only a few certain whey proteins are drastically superior than most ordinary whey proteins but I want to give you some help so know exactly what makes them different.

First off, most whey protein companies and manufacturers highly process their whey protein, which not only takes a lot of the nutrition out but it makes it have that chalky taste. This is the reason why they add lots of artificial flavors and additives; however, that could cause you to gain lots of weight so you want to make sure you are taking a sugar free whey protein powder instead.

This is just one small example of the many points we run through before we ever even get to recommending or taking a whey protein powder. However, another important thing to take into consideration is if the whey protein is undenatured or denatured.

You want to make sure that you are getting the most natural and organic supplement out there and so that would be finding an undenatured whey protein which sometimes gets referred to as cold-processing. Unlike denatured proteins these are processed at extremely high temperatures and because of that a lot of the natural enzymes, vitamins, and protein components are killed off during this process, which eventually leaves you with a dead protein you are consuming.

Just as important as the processing you need to determine and make sure that the source of the whey protein, which are the cows, are the healthiest possible cows that are out there. Unfortunately, most whey protein manufacturers skimp out on this process and to avoid having higher costs feed the cows a cheaper and unnatural diet of corn and grain. Doing this creates a malnourished cow that they then inject with hormones and steroids to fatten them up quicker and also they milk them twice as much creating a dairy and whey protein that is far superior and loaded with toxins.

I am sure by now you can see that is not the way to go if you are looking to take a protein supplement to boost your health. So make sure that the whey you are consuming is from grass fed cows that are free to roam around pesticide free pastures all year long and get the exercise they need. As opposed to the aforementioned grain fed cows, these grass fed cows are literally the healthiest cows in the world and because of that they produce the healthiest dairy and in turn whey protein.

This is the careful consideration we take into account to help find the best whey protein for men and women and which ones we ourselves are going to take to supplement our diets as well.
